29:19 I completely agree with you but I just have two points to make. 1) I think that the culture of the United States makes the Freedom of info act make more sense. We have absolutely NO trust in our police force and in our courts and the cameras in court and the document access makes more sense in that case. We have good reason not to trust these institutions. It’s like “keeping an eye” on law enforcement. US history is so deeply intertwined with racial issues and I do appreciate not having the police have an opaque curtain to hide behind where nobody can check them. 2) I think the segment of the true crime community that involves missing persons (rather than murder etc) appreciate the larger reach that social media can have. It helps find them and/or find people who potentially have info about it. Much more than the local news can. And obviously I agree that we shouldn’t have access to the autopsy pictures and very sensitive stuff like that. But the police and court documents don’t bother me as much.

this is kind of off topic and somewhat speculative, but i feel like all the ‘DID’ people on tiktok we have now were a result of DissoiDID. i am supportive of self diagnosis to an extent but i’m talking about the obviously fake systems on TikTok, down to the different accents and rapid switching between alters. I’m speculating this because i had a friend when i was like 12 (they were 12 too) who claimed they had DID, and cited DissoiDID’s videos years before tiktok, but their ‘DID’ was pretty much exactly the same as the fake tiktok systems. They even had a fawn alter who i tried to ask about oreos because I wasn’t sure what to say to them, only for the ‘host’ to quickly switch back and explain that the fawn didn’t know what oreos were. To this day (we are now 18) they say that they are an OSDD system of 42 last time i checked. For all i know they might actually have DID in some way, it would explain some things, but not in the way they presented it. They have a lot of other mental health problems and my friend group eventually cut them off because they were being kind of toxic and weird.

I've always been pretty iffy on advertising who's fronting with people I'm not close to, I don't like to cause some people will try to learn triggers to try and get us to switch out whenever they get "bored" of whoever they're talking to. I think people who dislike them would be better off talking about why certain behaviors and attitudes are harmful rather than trying to do some type of expose-esque rage bait. People can have real disorders and still just be shitty people. It feels like there is this bandwagon attitude where if you can "prove" a disorder is fake then harassing and/or threatening them is somehow justified. But typically in those cases they were never going to be “her” song, the demo was just to give an idea of what the person who would later get it would need to sing.
